Radio has long been a passion of mine. Ever since I was a boy, hiding under my blankets at night listening to music on my “Rocket Radio” through a single earphone, I have been fascinated with broadcasting. ❞ Michael Williams
I was always one who preferred to listen to the radio over watching television. During my 20s I hosted several radio shows on college, university, and commercial stations including shows like “Roots of Rock” (6X-FM), the “Bluegrass Barn Dance” (CHRW) and “Musical Friends” (CHRW). It should come as no surprise then, that I would eventually find a way to share my passion for oral storytelling on the radio. My show, The Teller and the Tale, is a weekly, half-hour presentation featuring storytellers and stories from around the world. It's available exclusively on Blues and Roots Radio. Past shows can also be heard on our website at thetellerandthetale.com and beginning in late 2020 on Spotify.
