Contact Me

1-1 and small group Story Coaching

I've been working 1-on-1 and with small groups for nearly 50 years. Those I've worked with say that I'm good at creating a safe space to talk.

Men and women come to me to create, polish, and share their stories. Some are

  • corporate leaders wanting to communicate more effectively;

  • artists and performers seeking to go deeper into the story and polish their performance;

  • people wanting to improve their confidence in public speaking;

  • people with fragmented or broken stories that they want to mend or re-create in a healthy way;

  • people who claim they don't have a story at all.

I'm a story midwife. I create space for stories to be born. I use my knowledge and experience gained as a mental health counsellor, performer, teacher, tutor and mentor, education consultant, a story coach, and end-of-life planning facilitator to help people create, polish, and share their stories with greater confidence.

Read my article "Unleashing the Power of Storytelling: Why You Need a Story Coach".

To book a "discovery" session with me, contact me at iamthestoryteller@gmail.com and introduce yourself and let me know how I might help you. I'll reach out with some dates/times we can meet for a free 30-minute consultation.

“The City of Hamilton is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation."
